Terri Haymaker, Director of Planning for the Public Building Commission of Chicago, has been selected as one of six award recipients of the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) inaugural scholarship program in connection with ULI’s Fall Meeting being held in Denver on October 16 – 19, 2012. Over 70 applications were received.
During the Fall Meeting, award winners will attend all WLI events, including the Women’s Reception which will formally recognize the award winners. Following the Fall Meeting, award winners will summarize their major takeaways from the Meeting and their essays will be posted on uli.org.
The mission of the WLI is to promote the advancement of women, throughout their careers, as leaders in the real estate industry; to increase the number of women who serve in leadership positions in the real estate industry and in ULI; to increase the visibility of women leaders in the real estate industry and in ULI; and to increase the number of women who are active ULI Full members, and support the development of young women members as leaders in ULI and in their professions.
