Urban Land Institute (ULI) Chicago to Present Revitalization Strategies for East Grand Avenue in Gurnee – Public Presentation: August 23, 2016
WHAT:
A panel of real estate experts from ULI Chicago will present strategies for revitalizing East Grand Avenue in Gurnee based on a two-day, technical assistance panel that took place in July of this year. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Village of Gurnee
The Village of Gurnee engaged ULI Chicago to conduct a two-day Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) on July 12-13, 2016 to recommend implementable strategies to revitalize East Grand Avenue and reposition it as a gateway into the Village from the east side. The ten-member panel reviewed extensive background information including past studies, toured the corridor and surrounding areas, and interviewed community members as part of the panel process.
Urban Land Institute Chicago (ULI Chicago)
ULI Chicago, a District Council of the Urban Land Institute, has more than 1,300 members in the Chicago land area. Organized in 1986, the district council’s Technical Assistance Services program draws upon ULI member expertise to provide creative and practical solutions to land use challenges in communities across the Chicago region and beyond. ULI Chicago’s TAS program was started in 2002 and has engaged with local leaders, community members and businesses in over 40 communities providing a strategic approach and comprehensive analysis on land development issues.
