Trustees excited by vision for Winnetka's business districts

March 27, 2013 – Chicago Tribune – Imagine Winnetka with several lively business districts, where one might take in an summer arts festival in Hubbard Woods, then grab a beer and watch a game in one of many pub options in the Elm Street district.
Such was the vision presented to the Village Council by members of the Urban Land Institute at a recent meeting. The presentation covered the findings of the first of two “technical assistance panels,” providing recommendations on how to invigorate the flagging business districts.
