ULI Chicago has embarked on a regional campaign to change the discussion around infrastructure. With an eye toward the comprehensive impact of infrastructure to the economic growth of our neighborhoods, communities, and region, ULI Chicago encourages a broader dialogue, evaluating land use and development opportunities to maximize impact. To date, we have reached more than 850 people at more than 15 events in the Southern Suburbs in April 2011; the Northern Suburbs in May 2011; and, the Chicago/Northwest Indiana area in June 2011.
Final Outreach Event Reached a Wide Audience
Infrastructure Investment and the Built Environment took place on February 8, 2013 and attracted a diverse group of over 135 people. Audience members heard the inside scoop on the O’Hare Modernization Project and Elgin-O’Hare Western Access and learned about opportunities catalyzed by these infrastructure projects from a panel of national experts in institutional investment, development, and economics.
