The Group that TAPS Together Stays Together

In summer of 2016, ULI Chicago convened a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) to help the Village of Gurnee create a plan to reinvigorate East Grand Avenue.  The TAP team included planners, developers, architects, financiers, market researchers and economic development specialists, all members of ULI Chicago. ULI Chicago Members Provide Technical Assistance in Mundelein

Development Dialogue | Aurora, IL

ULI Chicago members recently conducted a Development Dialogue in Aurora, IL to help jumpstart the City’s downtown redevelopment efforts. Workforce Housing Strategies for North River Communities, Chicago, IL

ULI Chicago, in partnership with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) convened a 2- day workshop to develop recommendations for maintaining and building workforce housing in Chicago’s North River neighborhoods, especially Albany Park. Panel Recommendations Presented at Public Meeting in Gurnee

ULI Chicago panelists presented recommendations for revitalizing East Grand Avenue in Gurnee at a public meeting attended by stakeholders including area residents, businesses, and local elected officials. Panel Recommendations Taking Shape Following Woodstock TAP

ULI Chicago’s TAP recommendations are guiding the City of Woodstock as it moves forward with rehabilitating the Old Courthouse and Sheriff’s House in its historic Square. One of the key recommendations of the Woodstock TAP was to form an Advisory Board that could lead the charge, and build broad support at the community and regional level for these historic structures.
