Two ULI Chicago TAPs Move Forward with Local and National Significance

February 18, 2015 – Groundbreaking on the Renovation/Redevelopment of the Historic Rosenwald Apartments The subject of a February 2010 technical assistance panel in cooperation with 3rd Ward Alderman Pat Dowell, the Rosenwald Apartments, originally opened in 1929 as safe and modern housing for a burgeoning African-American middle class, has been vacant since 2000. Rosenwald Apartments to be Renovated as Recommended by ULI Chicago Panel
