Molly Mowery serves as Executive Director of the Community Wildfire Planning Center (CWPC), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping communities prepare for, adapt to, and recover from wildfire events. Throughout her career, Molly has collaborated with partners across North America to bring her expertise in land use planning and wildfire mitigation to address risk at the local, community and national scales. Most recently, her work has focused on educating realtors, developers, emergency responders, planners, elected officials, and other industry professionals to understand their role in the wildfire decision making process. Molly is a member of the Sustainable Development Code Advisory Council and the American Institute of Certified Planners. She presents internationally and was the lead author of the American Planning Association’s PAS Report 594: Planning the Wildland-Urban Interface. Molly holds a bachelor’s degree from Naropa University and a master’s degree in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jose Bodipo-Memba is the Director of Sustainable Communities for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District’s (SMUD). Mr. Bodipo-Memba has spent over 18 years managing development and compliance projects associated with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Mr. Bodipo-Memba is the program manager for SMUD’s Long Range Asset Management Plan and as the environmental compliance coordinator for the 5000 acre Solano Wind Project in Rio Vista, CA. Mr. Bodipo-Memba is active in the community, serving on the Sacramento Planning and Design Commission, the Center for Fathers and Families Board of Directors, Chair of the ULI Sacramento District Council, and a member of the ULI National Public Development Infrastructure Council. He is the past board chair of Next Move Sacramento and Coro San Francisco. Mr. Bodipo-Memba was a 2010 recipient of the Sacramento Business Journal 40 under 40 award, the 2012 Drexel University Oxholm Award for Community Leadership, and the 2015 Drexel University 40 under 40 Distinguished Alumni award. Mr. Bodipo-Memba holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Drexel University.

Larry brings over thirty years experience in real estate, community and economic development in both the public and private sector to Burbank Housing. Most recently Larry served as the Director of Housing and Intergovernmental Affairs for Napa County. He managed Napa County’s affordable housing programs as well as the county’s Housing Authority and community and economic development activities. Prior to joining Napa County Larry spent over ten years in the private sector, co founding a development company specializing in adaptive reuse of underutilized industrial property and overseeing some of the company’s largest development projects in the San Francisco Bay Area including the redevelopment of the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard and Treasure Island. While in the Northeast Mr. Florin oversaw a 2,000 unit urban mixed use development project along the Hudson River across from Midtown Manhattan. He has over 15 years experience working in senior management positions in San Francisco including executive level positions in the Mayor’s Office, Redevelopment Authority and Port. He also served as the first Executive Director of the Treasure Island Development Authority. Throughout the years Larry has served on the Executive Board of the Association of Bay Area Governments, the Governors Task Force on Military Base Conversion, the State of California Housing Element Working Group and California Forward’s One Million Homes Initiative. He has received the San Francisco Business Times Real Estate Transaction of the Year Award and the San Francisco Mayors Manager of the Year. Larry has a Master in Urban Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Purchase State College.

Justice Jones earned two Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Texas at Austin in Environmental Resource Management and Cultural Anthropology. Prior to attending the University of Texas, Justice served in the United States Air Force where he participated in several missions abroad including two tours during Operation Desert Storm. He is member of the International Society of Arboriculture and Certified Wildland Firefighter. Justice serves as the Wildfire Mitigation Officer and leads efforts to enhance the city of Austin’s resiliency to the impacts of wildfire.
