    Join other ULI Chicago Young Leaders from various disciplines in a roundtable discussion on the future of experiential retail. As ecommerce headwinds and changing consumer preferences put a strain on traditional retail, experiential concepts incorporating restaurants, movie theaters, and fitness clubs were designed to reposition the asset class. Given the effects of COVID-19, experiential retail is proving more challenging than expected. We will discuss how experiential retail has battled the pandemic, new concepts that have emerged, and the long term viability of the experimental concept on the retail asset class.
