ULI Chicago YL Small Group Discussion Series
Life
Sciences Lift Off | A Conversation on One of the Hottest Sectors in CRE
Tuesday,
March 23, 2021
The second installment of the YL Small Group Discussion Series
will dive into one of the most heavily sought after sectors in CRE for some
time now, Life Sciences, which has become even more relevant in light of the
COVID-19 pandemic.
Harrison Street has made
many large scale plays in this sector recently entering the Sand Diego life
science market, as well as a project in partnership with Sterling Bay at 2430
Halstead in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. This sector remains a
very niche market of the industry, but has become a very attractive and stable
play for many firms. This discussion event will shed light on just what
constitutes the Life Sciences sector of CRE, why this sector is so attractive
to investors, strategy behind the locations of these properties, and more
during this program. Harrison Street will discuss some of their most recent
projects/acquisitions in this sector, and give their overall view on the Life
Science/Biotech area going forward.
