Making a personal connection with someone who is deeply committed and intimately knowledgeable about an industry or organization is one of the most productive relationships you can foster.  On the third Friday of every month, ULI Chicago offers just that to their members – and all you have to do is show up.  Executive Director, Cindy McSherry, hosts morning coffee at the ULI Chicago office designed to personally connect individuals with the many opportunities the District Council has to offer. Intentionally small, these gatherings offer one-on-one conversation and a chance to ask specific questions and request direction and advice.

Over coffee, Cindy provides an overview of existing and newly announced opportunities available to enhance your ULI membership including upcoming networking events, the process of applying for a committee, and a variety of other topics necessary to navigate the ULI organization. Of special interest this month, is the soon to be released 2017 Chicago Product Council request for applications.  A benefit open to all membership types, applications will be released in early November, so keep an eye out!

Whether you’re a new, old or returning ULI member, if you are looking to get further involved with the Chicago District Council, attending a coffee session is the ideal place to connect with local leadership and explore current offerings.

Located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, the ULI Chicago office is right off the Brown Line at the Irving Park stop.  It is home to the inner workings of the District Council aptly housed in one of the City’s most structurally sound buildings.  The 1,100 s.f. loft space houses the artwork of up-and-coming young artists and collaboration areas.  We invite you to come, bring your questions, and learn about ULI!
