ULI Panel Report Moving Navy Pier Redevelopment Plans Forward

Navy Pier is in the news again as leaders examine and discuss redevelopment plans in preparation for the Pier’s 100th birthday in 2016.  ULI conducted its latest advisory services panel on the Pier in 2010 sponsored by the City of Chicago and the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.  The 2010 panel report titled “Reinventing the Navy Pier” outlines many of the plans being discussed and evaluated today including a new boutique hotel.  ULI conducted another panel in 1989, “An Evaluation of Revitalization Strategies for the City of Chicago and the Navy Pier Development Authority“.  Once again, ULI has left an enduring mark on the Chicago skyline.
