Panel Recommendations Presented at Public Meeting in Gurnee

ULI Chicago panelists presented recommendations for revitalizing East Grand Avenue in Gurnee at a public meeting attended by stakeholders including area residents, businesses, and local elected officials.

The panel’s recommendations, crafted after an intense 2-day Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) completed on July 12-13, 2016, focused on embracing the population diversity in eastern Gurnee and creating a unique identity that builds on the corridor’s local, independent businesses. A written report from the panel is forthcoming.

ULI Chicago has completed nearly 30 technical assistance panels throughout the greater Chicagoland area on topics ranging from housing, retail development, and historic preservation to transportation and infrastructure. Learn more about ULI Chicago’s Technical Assistance Services Program.
