ULI Chicago to Conduct Technical Assistance Panel in Hanover Park, August 1-2, 2012

In collaboration with the Village of Hanover Park and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), this panel will bring together real estate experts to focus on strategies for viable redevelopment along the Irving Park Road Corridor in Hanover Park, between Astor Avenue to the west and Wise Road to the east. ULI members with expertise in development, market feasibility, finance, land use, and design will convene for two full days to tour the study area, interview community and business stakeholders, and explore different strategies for business recruitment and land use planning along the Irving Park Road Corridor. After the 2-day process, the panel will issue a report outlining recommendations for viable redevelopment strategies informed by the community’s vision and based on market realities and best practices.
