The Urban Land Institute Chicago District Council (ULI Chicago), with support from the City of Naperville, is convening a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) to prepare recommendations to redevelop the 5th Avenue Study Area, centered around the Metra station, to realize economic, social, and community benefits for Naperville.
In preparation for the TAP, ULI Chicago panel members have reviewed extensive background information. During the TAP, taking place June 10 and 11, 2025, the Panel will meet with nearly 100 stakeholders including area residents, business and property owners, civic and institutional leaders, City of Naperville staff, and elected officials to gather their input. The Panel will work collaboratively over the two days to develop recommendations to help identify transit-oriented redevelopment opportunities for the 5th Avenue study area.
Please stay tuned for a community meeting in the coming weeks where ULI Chicago will share the Panel’s findings and recommendations.
