ULI Chicago members are in Mundelein for the next two days conducting a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) at the request of Village of Mundelein officials. The TAP will be focusing on redevelopment strategies for select priority sites within the southside commercial area in the Village of Mundelein.
The TAP will seek to answer the following questions posed by the Village of Mundelein:
- What are appropriate future land uses for the corridor, which has been split between large commercial uses and industrial/office uses?
- What transportation enhancements may be necessary to enhance the appeal of the corridor?
- What public improvements are advised to enhance the corridors appearance and development potential?
- What are the development tools, if any, that should be implemented throughout the corridor?
Thank you to our ULI experts who have volunteered their time and expertise to participate on the panel.
