The ULI Fall Meeting starts today with “Tour Day”. If you were lucky enough to register early for one of these on-site tours, you will have an amazing day! From Mission Bay to Oakland to the Port of San Francisco, ULI members will be all across the Bay Area. These exclusive real estate and cultural experiences are always a sell out and this year has been no different.
For those just arriving today and adjusting to Pacific time, get some coffee and make sure you are ready to maximize your Fall meeting this year. Here is our list of tips and reminders:
Download ULI Events App – all the info you need at your finger tips on schedules, locations, and exclusive last minute updates. See who’s attending and connect in-app or just share your own photos and experiences. Provide immediate feedback on your Fall Meeting experience. Download App Now
Use Social Media Tags – make sure to follow the conference hashtag #ULIFall on Twitter or Instagram for real-time highlights during the conference. If you are posting about your own experiences, don’t forget to include #ULIFall and also @ulichicago so we can all share in what’s happening.
Share Photo Highlights – not everyone is able to be in San Francisco this week, so share your session, meeting or networking photos, meet-ups with fellow Chicago members (with almost 300 in attendance you’re bound to see someone), or your explorations around the Bay Area. Post on social media yourself OR send to [email protected] and we’ll post on ULI Chicago’s Feed for you! Make sure to include details on who, what, where, when.
Find Out Who’s Attending – use the ULI Events App or access a list from the Fall Meeting website (sortable by different categories) and connect with Chicago members throughout the 4-day event.
Think Strategically (and long-term) – introduce yourself to those sitting next to you during sessions; pick and choose the events that most interest you; don’t just hand out business cards, but try to connect individually with fellow members and follow up after the meeting; don’t try to ‘do it all’ … there is always next year.
Have a great 2015 Fall Meeting – and don’t forget to tell us all about it!
