Women’s Leadership Initiative
About the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI)
The ULI Chicago Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) was launched in 2015 to raise the visibility and number of women leaders in ULI and the real estate industry. Chicago’s WLI initiative shares the four primary goals of ULI’s national WLI program to:
- Promote the advancement of women
- Increase the number of women who serve in leadership positions
- Increase the visibility of women leaders
- Increase the number of women who are active ULI Full members
Support the Women’s Leadership Initiative
- Promote a female colleague into a lead position on a high-profile project or for participation and leadership roles in professional organizations and boards
- Promote speaking and publishing opportunities
- Include a female colleague in formal and informal relationship-building events
- Coach a mid-level protégée as she takes on new roles and builds relationships
